‘Wildlife Jack’ for Disney Junior

Moon Studio London/ Brighton, February - June 2014

In 2014 I was lead animator in a very small team of animators on a short, crowdfunded TV series aimed at pre-school aged children. Wildlife Jack is a unique mix of hand-drawn animated character Jack, produced in Flash, exploring the world around him in live-action documentary footage, learning about the habits and habitats of animals from the Red Deer to the Ladybird through the narrating voice of his explorer Grandad, voiced by Chris Packham.
As a wildlife enthusiast myself, this was a project I have great affection for. Five episodes were produced, although one of these was an initial 'pilot' episode produced before the subsequent episodes without the help of the final team of animators.
